Polypropylene

Polypropylene carpets are manufactured using synthetic fibres. They have many similar properties to nylon carpets however do have a different texture.

Polypropylene carpets have excellent colour fastness properties and also contain antistatic properties. Polypropylene yarns provide value for budget conscious customers often these carpets are utilised for rental properties or even an investor home.

Generally these carpets come in many different designs from level loop to a textured loop pile and all have between 5 – 10 years warranties *As per samples

Polyester

Polyester carpets are less expensive then your Wool, Nylon and Solution Dyed Nylons, however they do feel and can be mistaken for a Nylon due to how soft they feel.  This carpet is suited to low traffic areas such as bedrooms however stairs and living areas may require a higher quality of carpet to endure the everyday wear and tear.

Polyester carpet comes with superior colourfastness and is supported with warranties. These carpets are cost effective and offer a great new look and can be purchased in any weight and look you desire. 

Nylon (SPF)

Nylon carpets that are dyed after construction are available in a wide range of vibrant colours with long lasting colour fastness warranties.

Fade resistance is built into the carpet and doesn’t wear off, giving you the confidence to open up your home and let the sun shine in!

Great stain resistance properties that make it easy to clean. Nylon carpets have been around for decades and the life of the carpet exceeds what most family house holds need.

Solution Dyed Nylon (SDN)

SDN Carpets offer complete consistency in colour as well as improved colour fastness against light. It offers durability and superior stain resistance.

Because SDN carpet are non-porous, it can resist stains and odours. They come in many colours and designs / texture all which would be suitable for your home or any project you may have. Also some are fire retardant for commercial use where necessary

Solution Dyed Nylon carpets are today the most brought carpets in the world.

Wool & Wool Blends

Wool is a natural fibre from sheep or alpaca. Most commonly sold is from sheep, wool is renewable and sustainable. Wool has a different feel to any other synthetic carpet; the natural source of lanolin in the fibre gives you a natural soft luxurious feel.

Wool Fibres are the strongest fibre you can find, they are stain / soiling resistant. Wool absorbs noise and is also flame retardant and can be used in both domestic and commercial areas. Natural fibre from sheep wool is renewable and sustainable. Wool’s natural properties help keep your home cool in summer and warm in winter.

Mixing synthetic fibre with wool can help to hold the twist definition in some carpet styles, providing improved wearing ability and reduced shedding from short fibres.
